The NSS unit of Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing Karaikal has organized the pledge taking programme against drug abuse on 11.08.2022. Our Principal Prof. Dr. K. Kamala explained the ill effects of drug abuse and the role of nursing students in preventing and disseminating the information on hazards of drug abuse in the community through school health programme and community awareness programmes.NSS volunteers of 59 and 10 faculty members have participated in the programme and took pledge against drug abuse.The entire programme was coordinated by Mrs. P. Santhi, NSS Programme Officer.
