The Department of Mental Health Nursing to preparing the students to promote mental health, prevent mental problems and to rehabilitate the patients with psychiatric problems and their families.
The Department of mental health nursing, under an experienced and dedicated faculty, renders quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The students are given clinical posting in Psychiatric hospital where mentoring the mental health care for the patients. The Departmental library is available with recent edition books, journals & thesis. The Department is committed to provide opportunities for professional growth for the students. It helps the students appreciate clients as individuals and develop skills to function as Psychiatric Nurses. To develope the skills of UG & PG nursing students in the area of classroom teaching as well as clinical teaching methods to practice their knowledge for the development of practical skills.
