Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing at Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Karaikal. The department is well-equipped with the entire necessary infrastructure to facilitate comprehensive learning in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The Department of OBG is committed to providing quality education, clinical training, and research opportunities in women’s health. Students receive thorough training in antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, family welfare services, and the management of gynecological conditions through both theoretical and practical exposure. Our Department of OBG has a Departmental library with textbooks and journals, offering comprehensive resources for study and reference.

Departmental activities include research projects, organizing events such as Safe motherhood day, International Midwives Day, and conducting community outreach programs etc. The faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated to mentoring students, encouraging research, and promoting excellence in women’s healthcare and Nursing practice.
