Child Health Nursing

Welcome to the department of Child health nursing at Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Karaikal. Is a specialized field of nursing focused on the healthcare of infants, children, and adolescents, from conception to young adulthood. It involves providing holistic, family-centered care for children's physical, emotional, and social needs through a combination of theoretical knowledge and clinical training in settings like hospitals, schools, and community health programs.

The department is well – equipped with the entire necessary infrastructure to facilitate comprehensive learning in the field of Child health nursing for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The department's functions include providing skilled nursing care in settings like pediatric wards and intensive care units, educating families, and contributing to the education, management, and research of child health. The department is having qualified, experienced, and committed faculty.
